Although the right interview outfit doesn’t necessarily guarantee you the job, first impressions are everything – if you’re dressed to impress you’ll be sure to start things off on a positive note.
There’s a fine line between looking professional while staying true to your personal style.

Looking the part for an interview is never simple but we’ve put together some basic guidelines to follow.
1 Make sure you’re comfortable – wear something you’ve worn before and feel fabulous in.
2 Confidence is key!
3 The right shoes are essential – at some point your interviewer will look you up and down and their gaze will ultimately finish on your shoes. A closed toe with a mid heel is probably the safest bet.
4 Black is sometimes boring – try adding a subtle splash of colour or a pattern to brighten up your look.
5 Jeans are a big no! Opt for a gorgeous pair of tailored pants instead.
6 Keep things classic and sophisticated with no more than three colours.
7 If you’re not the adventurous type opt for the perfect combination of a white silk blouse and black fitted trousers.
8 The perfect pantsuit is a foolproof interview outfit – but if you don’t own one don’t improvise. Wait until you come across one that fits you perfectly and looks amazing.
