Organic beauty products usually consist of essential oils, honey, beeswax and a range of fruit and veggies. If you have really sensitive skin and other cosmetic products cause your skin to react, these products are worth a try.
1.RMS Beauty Living Luminizer
This face tint provides a highlighting effect. It successfully illuminates the skin while moisturising it. Bonus: it doesn’t leave skin feeling or looking sticky or oily. This product has to be imported so it’s quite pricey. It’s available at Wantitall for R1 466. Models such as Miranda Kerr and Gisele Bündchen swear by it and its effects.
2. Karen Murrell Lipstick in Scarlet Blaze
If you want to achieve a gorgeous pout, you should invest in this product. The lipstick is long-lasting and highly pigmented. We love Scarlet Blaze because it’s red (which works for all skin tones) but it has slightly brown undertones (so it’s not as scarlet as you would think). It’s available at Faithful To Nature for R365.
3. Lush Eyes Right Mascara
Lush’s Eyes Right Mascara is made with wheatgrass – this nourishes and defines your lashes, and promotes growth. It’s available at Lush for R180.
4. Lush Liquid Liner in Happiness
Lush has a range of liquid liners that are pretty cool. They come in really fun shades, including blue and green. Happiness is a gold liquid liner. It’s highly pigmented so it’s really striking – especially against darker skin. It’s available at Lush for R195.
5. Crede Organic Virgin Coconut Oil
Virgin coconut oil or coconut butter has many benefits for hair, including retaining moisture, hair toning, hair conditioning, hair growth and preventing split ends. The list of overall benefits that coconut oil provides is endless. This product is worth keeping around the house. It’s available at Woolworths for R69,95.
