We’re taking our cue from the leaves, and going shades of brown and copper with our makeup as we (reluctantly) head into autumn. Try a palette of blush pinks and shimmery browns to give a warm look to your skin as the weather turns chilly.
Choose an eye-shadow palette with a wide selection of natural shades with warm undertones (think coppers, bronzes and any shade of brown with a hint of shimmer to it). Shimmery shades are a great way to brighten up your skin – amazing for those dreary days when you need a lift.
While these palettes are great for creating smoky eyes, we’re loving a lighter look at the moment. Use one of the shades in the middle of the palette on your whole lid and brow bone, adding a touch of the lightest tone in the corner of your eye and just below the arch of your eyebrow to add dimension. Finish with a dramatic layer of volumising mascara.
The changing of the seasons often leaves your skin looking and feeling dry, so bring it back to life with your new makeup must-have: the strobing pen.
Dot on the bridge of your nose, along your cheekbones, in your Cupid’s bow and just beneath your brow arch and blend. The shimmery formula will catch the light in these key areas and create a beautifully radiant effect.
Forget matt lips – we’re getting shiny this season. Finish your autumn look with a warm pink tone that has a hint of gloss to it.
This sponge-like ‘cushion’ applicator is great for applying on the go, plus it contains avocado, which is not only everyone’s favourite toast topping but is also amazing for nourishing dry lips – who knew?
