If there’s one place brides-to-be need to turn for great wedding dress inspiration, it’s Pinterest. Literally, this place on the internet is rammed full of lacey numbers, huge white gowns and more unusual options for whatever kind of bride you are.
Which is why we were interested to discover from our Australian friends that the most pinned dress in the world is by Boho brand Grace Loves Lace.
And not only do people love this dress, but they LOVE this dress, as it already has over 2.5 million posts. Plus, the gown has been so popular that the original even sold out online.
TBF, it is a beautiful dress, with plenty of detail and swishy bits that move when you walk. It is advertised on the brand’s website as the Hollie 2.0 – the original being no more – and retails at 2,200 AUD or R22 700. So a bit of a bargain too! Relatively speaking, of course.
The Hollie 2.0 retains most of the original features of the Hollie with just a few design changes ‘namely the free-flowing silk chiffon sheaths attached at the shoulders, which can be threaded through a centre back loop and beautifully draped’ its explains on the website.
‘The Hollie 2.0 also features a graduated centre-front split in the lace layer of the skirt.’
You might want to hurry up if you’re considering the Hollie 2.0 for your own wedding, as the style is already in serious demand.
