All relationships go through rough patches, but there comes a time to say hamba gahle. Here’s how to know the difference.
In healthy relationships, the giving and the getting is shared. Sure, sometimes one will give more than the other, but on the whole it all balances out. If you feel like you’re constantly playing cheerleader to his life and making big concessions to remain in it, something’s wrong. Likewise, if you find yourself behaving like a prat and getting away with it while the poor boy bends over backwards to accommodate your demands, neither of you can be happy. Look for a relationship where the input/output balance is better.
