On the misconceptions of entrepreneurship:
I am a full-time entrepreneur, so for me sometimes the struggle is around balance. I run my own business and co-run The Other Girls, which produces The WKND Social and The Switch Up events. I love working in a team, because we are all so passionate about what we produce and this really shows in how the events turn out.
On lessons learned:
Get everything down on paper!
On what women entrepreneurs need more of in SA:
I operate in a space where I believe I can do anything a man can do, so if I were to call out something that women entrepreneurs need more of, I would say it is that they need to support each other.
On advice for other entrepreneurs:
Work smart and be consistent.
