1 Find your happy place
Do you naturally assume that struggling has to be an inevitable part of life? Shut that down immediately. Never treat life as a challenge; it’s a privilege! Calm down, cool down and be more carefree. The more you relax, the more you’ll get done. Your life is something you’re in forever – might as well make it positive and peaceful.
2 Treat yourself more
Everything is better if you’re in a great mood, and sometimes it’s up to you to get yourself into that state of mind. Don’t rely on other people to make you feel good. Remember – you’re important, too. Set aside time in the day to do whatever the hell you want. Go for a massage, or binge-watch a new series with a bucket of popcorn and no shame.
3 Work out … less
You read right. Screw the whole ‘no pain, no gain’ thing. It’s one of the most common ways to burn yourself out and create struggle where there doesn’t have to be any. Do regular but moderate exercise, such as hiking or taking part in a sport you enjoy. Exercise should be something that makes you feel better, not worse.
