If your willpower has slipped, here’s how to feel great again.

You Tell Yourself: ‘If I eat "diet" foods, my body will be fine.’ Take Action: Many foods labelled ‘diet’ or ‘low-fat’ contain artificial additives and sweeteners to make up for the lack of fat and sugar. These chemicals are difficult to digest, and the body produces fatty tissues to store them. Stick with full-fat foods, but in smaller portions.
You Tell Yourself: ‘I take vitamins so I don’t have to eat healthily.’
You Tell Yourself: ‘If I give my liver a break every so often, binge-drinking is fine.’
You Tell Yourself: ‘I’ll start exercising when I need to.’
