It binds to the dead skin cells in the top layer of your skin, and doesn’t penetrate any further.’ Regarding inhalation being dangerous, Wong says that spray-tan mist is a potential irritant, but it shouldn’t be a problem unless you have asthma or a similar condition. ‘The beauticians who apply the spray tan wear masks because they’re around the mist a lot,’ he says. ‘If you’re having it applied, keep your mouth closed and try not to breathe too much in.’|
