Feeling down on yourself? Forget the body confidence advice that takes weeks of effort to kick in (no, I will not sign up for a 10-kilometre marathon to remind myself of what my body is capable of). Instead, try these quick and easy tips that will leave you loving your stunning self in no time!
How does that song go? ‘You’re basically naked without a smile’? Or something? There’s some truth to that. Everyone – everyone – is at their most gorgeous when smiling. Give yourself a grin in the mirror, remember that you’re one stunning specimen and you’re good to go.

2. Spray on your signature scent
You know, the perfume that makes you feel like you’ve hosed yourself down in some sort of man-attracting pheromone from head to toe. It’s amazing what a really beautiful smell can do for your confidence.
3. Look at the parts of your body you love
Maybe you have amazing shoulders or fabulous hair or really great lips – there’s no way you can’t acknowledge some part of your body that’s objectively gorgeous. Screw the process of focussing on your (perceived) flaws when you could be admiring your beauty instead.
4. Sit or stand up straight
Have you ever noticed how you walk just a little bit taller on the days you feel good about yourself? The opposite is true if you’re slumping all over the place. Fix your posture, assume a power pose and supercharge your confidence.
5. Dress (or undress) to impress
You don’t have to shimmy into your tightest bodycon to feel hot. We all have an item of clothing, a shoe or an accessory that makes us feel better than anything else we own. Great underwear can do the same thing. Throw it on for a quick self-esteem boost.

6. Give yourself a spa-treatment
You don’t have to spend a fortune – treat yo’self! Paint your own nails, give yourself a facial, and take a long bath. We challenge you not to feel fabulous after that. It will be virtually impossible.
7. Put on a little makeup
Not to the degree of a Kardashian or anything. A bit of mascara to make your eyes brighter and some lipstick is more than enough. You want to highlight your natural beauty just enough to remind yourself that you are just that: naturally beautiful. You are. Deal with it.
