Alex Pettyfer began his career as a child fashion model at the age of seven in the town of Slough in Berkshire. As a schoolboy, talented young Alex took the lead in plays including Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Jack and the Beanstalk and The Adventures of Robin Hood before attending the Sylvia Young Theatre School in London.
After a stint in modelling, Pettyfer made his professional acting debut in the British television production of Tom Brown’s Schooldays. Movie roles that followed included Stormbreaker, Wild Child, Beastly and I Am Number Four with Steven Spielberg as executive producer. In 2012 Pettyfer landed a coveted role in The Butler alongside Nicole Kidman, John Cusack, Alan Rickman and Forest Whitacker.
Alex was nominated for a Young Artist Award and an Empire Award for his performance in Stormbreaker, and he’s been rated one of the world’s top 50 eligible bachelors, and one of the sexiest men on the planet. We think this boy is sizzling.
