COSMO Cover Girl Masterclass

- Cosmo Editor

A handful of COSMO readers no longer had to envy the sexy smile, trendy tresses and beautiful body that gazed back at them from the COSMO covers – they were taught the very secrets that could get them those cover star looks at the very first Cover Girl Masterclass workshops.

Teaming with Revlon, ghd and Wonderbra, COSMOPOLITAN treated readers in Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban to a day of pure indulgence and top-secret insider tricks. COSMO’s Senior Fashion Editor Robynne Kahn shared her fashion tips for the coming season, the secret to the COSMO pose and how best to use and fit your lingerie wardrobe. While professional beauty and hair experts from Revlon and ghd got to work with the makeovers, Archers Aqua ensured the girls were fashionably quenched.

Readers also were treated to a light breakfast, lunch and the chance to meet Elbe, the face of Wonderbra, and Claudia Henkel, Miss South Africa 2004.

Goody bags brimmed over with Revlon products worth R300, hair products from the ghd Thermodynamics range and one lucky ready even walked away with a ghd IV styler at each workshop. Wonderbra also gave every reader her own specially-fitted Wonderbra in addition to a Wonderbra bag and gift.

Special thanks to Revlon, ghd, Wonderbra, Archers Aqua, The Vineyard Hotel (Cape Town), The Hilton Hotel (Durban) and Crown Plaza (Johannesburg, Rosebank).

We all love a good pastry. Even those people who are banting and refer to them as “carbs” like they’re an unloved middle child love them.
