Mel C explains why she turned down Spice Girls reunion

Mel C says a Spice Girls reunion will only work if all five

Mel C says a Spice Girls reunion will only work if all five members are involved.
The 43-year-old singer decided not to reunite with her bandmates Mel B, Geri Horner and Emma Bunton after Victoria Beckham opted out and Mel believes it needs all five members to work.
Speaking on ITV’s ‘The Nightly Show’, she told Davina McCall: “That’s where I’m at right now, that’s where myself and Victoria are at.
“It’s not really doing the band justice to go out as a four-piece, whoever is missing, it doesn’t matter.”
For me, Spice Girls, it’s like a jigsaw puzzle.
“It’s different to other bands because you look at Take That and they are going out as a three-piece, and they are brilliant, I love the boys.
“But with the Spice Girls everything about us was the individuality and what that created together.”
And Victoria has recently ruled out a reunion, insisting that the group getting back together to perform at the London 2012 Olympics was enough.
She said: “There won’t be a reunion because I think that when we performed at the [London] Olympics, that was so great and that was us celebrating everything that we’d achieved.
“I still talk to all the other girls. We’re still very close, but I think you need to know when it’s time to actually say, ‘That was great, we achieved a lot,’ and everybody moves on. But I’ll always be Posh.”
