Expected to become one of the most popular beauty competitions amongst aspiring models, the Veet Celebration of Beauty campaign brings with it a once-in-a-lifetime journey and the possibility of stardom by becoming Miss Veet SA and winning over R100 000 worth of prizes. For the launch, renowned fashion designer JJ Schoeman was commissioned to design a Veet Celebration of Beauty- inspired dress made entirely out of flowers. JJ Schoeman is one South Africa’s most loved fashion designers, creating masterpieces for Miss South Africa, Miss SA Teen and Miss Universe since 2005.
The entry mechanism for this awesome competition is simple – all contestants need to do is get their Veet product in-store, log on to the
VeetSA Facebook page and upload their profile picture. Then, eight lucky finalists will be selected and flown down to Cape Town to undergo beauty and etiquette training and enjoy a yacht cruise around Camps Bay with industry professionals - all under the watchful eyes of the Veet Celebration of Beauty panel of judges. Veet Celebration of Beauty ‘flash mobs’ will also be scouting for the perfect ‘model in the making’ at local shopping malls. This will include the rollout of Veet Mini Villas stocked with expert stylists waiting to get South Africa’s undiscovered goddesses picture-perfect.
The unveiling of Miss Veet SA 2012 will be held in Johannesburg on the 7 December 2012. This glitzy event will be packed with celebrity DJs and SA’s top performers and will feature a fashion show that will showcase South Africa’s number one lingerie and swimwear designer, Dax Martin.
