Fashion Stylist		 How she makes the web work for her:
'The Internet is a great marketing tool for my business and allows me to reach a wide range of people of all ages and backgrounds. It offers a sense of anonymity to clients, which in my business, is often important. Because relationships, sex and sexual dysfunction are still slightly 'taboo' subjects, people like to read about these difficulties online. I use the web as a way to get valuable information out into the public forum. My passion is for people and relationships. The reason I do what I do is that I believe that you can work through most relationship issues. By giving people information, they are more informed about their situations and are more inclined to seek help if they know there is a solution out there.

'I also use the web to market myself. As a sexologist, people have various ideas about what I do. By putting my CV and my professional qualifications in a public forum, people can see that I'm highly qualified.'

How to make the web work for you:
''The Internet is a public forum. Make sure what you put out there is how you really want to be seen. Remember that anyone (future bosses, future partners, etc) will have access to this information, so you'll want to make sure that, for example, pictures you upload are a true representation of who you are. Pictures can often be misinterpreted if the viewer doesn't know the context, and you might find yourself being passed over for a promotion or overlooked as a potential girlfriend because of some misinterpreted pictures. The Internet is also a great place to meet people and I definitely support online dating if it is done responsibly.'
