The Food Fix

I would just like to thank you from the bottom of my heart, you (COSMO) have not only saved my life but also my relationship. I've had a pretty rough life, and I finally met a great guy. But things suddenly went downhill. Ever since I met him I gained 50 kilos. I hate looking in the mirror! I have been so depressed I even called off the wedding, finding fault in everything and everyone, but not realising the problem is actually me! I have so many things/feelings and people from the past that I am not dealing with - and now realise it is holding me back!

I want to succeed so badly in life, but just can't seem to get anywhere. I have even considered suicide (BAD, I KNOW). I'm so embarrassed. I have tried every diet and try to control my eating, but after a week I'm always back at square one! I am now going to get the help I need and get my life back on track. Thank you so much for the article 'Is Food Your Fix?' (December 2011). It really helped me realise what the problem really is.
