Aphrodite - Kylie Minogue

Kylie Minogue has been a pop queen for over two decades, so it’s only fitting that after three album-less years, Aphrodite seems to be reliving her former 80s glory. With a heavy reliance on synth and other electro influences, this release is bound to impress her older fans.

Aphrodite is catchy and perfectly produced – it didn’t debut at number one on the UK Album Charts for nothing. However, the album seems a bit forced. It seems, this time, the Australian songstress has just missed the mark. Electro is an international trend at the moment, so if you’re going to use synth in every song, make sure you do it right.
