Vitamin Questions

In an ideal world, we’d get all the vitamins and minerals we need from a balanced diet. But sometimes life interferes, and taking a supplement seems like the best (and easiest) option. Sharon Natoli, director of Food & Nutrition Australia, tells us more.

‘Can taking vitamin C really stop me from getting sick?’ Women on the Pill have been found to have a slight decrease in vitamins B and C. A multivitamin or an extra B6 vitamin supplement will benefit you most. However, inconsistent doses of vitamin C can also reduce the Pill’s effectiveness.
