Dietitian Susie Burrell tells you why theyre bad and how to avoid them.

Buying In Bulk Microwave meals can be hard to resist after a long day, but they’re not as nutritious as they claim. ‘They may appear low in fat, but they’re often packed with cheap carbohydrates and artificial ingredients, and they contain little protein and small veggie portions. To make healthy meals quickly, cook an omelette, or [have] tuna on toast. If you must eat frozen meals, buy meat and vegetable options, and add extra steamed veggies.’
