You've probably noticed that almost every A-lister is obsessed with enormous eyelashes. 'Long, thick lashes open your eyes,' says salon owner, Sheri Mansur. But beyond the obvious desire to look stunning, super-full lashes are a hit for a simple reason: 'The eyes signal attraction and connection, and big eyes provide more opportunity to see those signals,' explains Dr Lionel Tiger, a Charles Darwin professor and expert. 'Lashes are part of that.' Here's how to make the most of yours.

Low Maintenance: Makeup Moves	Rule one: Always curl your lashes first. Also, rim your lash lines with a black pencil to make them look extra lush, says celebrity makeup artist Mally Roncal. When applying mascara, wiggle the brush into lash roots, then zigzag it as you swipe it through. 'A lot of mascara comes off with the first stroke, so start at your outer corners where you want lashes to look thickest,' adds makeup artist Vincent Longo. And go for two coats.
